This wedding is amongst my favorites. We were inspired by the famous french hand painted wallpaper of de Gournay whose Chinoiserie influences led us to the ornithological accents laced throughout the wedding. Taxidermied peacocks were suspended above the dance floor amongst dozens of bird cage chandeliers. Table numbers were hand painted on to ostrich and emu eggs. Guests received an array of goose eggs, leaves, bird nests, etc... as their escort cards & custom runners & throw pillows for the lounge were made out of designer upholstery fabric. The event took place in October at a private country club in the Napa Valley and was shot by Lauren Ross.
