Featured in Brides Magazine seen here, this wedding was held at Auberge du Soleil, a 5 star resort in the Napa Valley. The bride wanted to add an element of glitz & glamour but in a playful way so, using vintage costume jewelry & antique lace, I hand-made 1920's head pieces for each female attendant to wear. Men were given fedora's & ray bans. We set up 2 boudoirs for Men & Women where they selected & tried on their head pieces all the while being surrounded by 'blast from the past' decor items- antique books, old Chanel perfume bottles, vintage mirrors, long strands of pearls, Cuban cigars, etc... A tone was set immediately upon arrival because it automatically turned the otherwise traditional wedding into somewhat of a costume era party. The bride really liked sparkle so we used sequin table cloths, pillows & glitter wherever possible, including on the donuts that we served in lieu of a traditional cake.
